the yearly surcharge. It comes to $269.00 but I lost the letter I got in the mail where it said to whom and where to mail the payment. I tried looking in the Texas dmv website but had no luck finding a phone number to contact these people. Does anyone know where I can send the payment or a phone number where I can contact them? As a matter of fact, I dont even know who I can call. I remember that the check wasn't supposed to be mailed to the local DMV, it was mailed somewhere else in Texas like Dallas or Austin. I have to get the payment in their office by Jan. 6, 2007 and was hoping to get all the info so I can overnight the payment. PLEASE HELP!!!

I've already paid the ticket but now they charge a fee or penalty for 3 years for getting that one ticket for driving without an insurance. They say that if the fee is not paid they'll suspend your license.

just call or go down to the police department in the county where you got the ticket and they will have a copy of it and give you the details where to send it

Yes they'll take your license away and you will have to take the whole driving test over again and you will still have to pay the fees and other stuff they through on.
