Hey since I have a reputation of being like a sister to guys and never considered girlfriend material, I kind of want to change it because I want to get into a relationship. Suggestions?
Guys find it easy to confide in me and talk with me, about anything from general to extremely intimate. I'm, sweet, kind, guys call me an inner supermodel(if looks were based on personality I'd be a supermodel). I love to help others and listen. Anyway How can I shake that a bit and show guys and attract the RIGHT guys that I am girlfriend material, not just sister material.
If the sister image will help me in the long run how will that help me?
Suggestions please? Especially guys?
By the way I am a 'plain Jane' if you know what I mean.

It's always helpful if you could win one's trust. Man are looking not only for girlfriends, but for friends as well. In the long run everybody is looking for a partner, and the word "trust" is a big part of that!

Don't change your personality one bit, but you might think of doing some sort of makeover on yourself. Freshen up your wardrobe, get a new hairstyle, go see a makeup consultant. These seem like very material kind of things, but most girls are plain janes with out this stuff.
If guys love you without all of this...just think what you can do to them with a little help.

My guess, "plain Jane" is that you need to up your flirting and your looks. Men, bless their hearts, are very visual - do you wear T-shirts & jeans all the time? Try something with a little "pop" You know you've got some great assests in the personality department, you need to play up your sex appeal. You can do this! It will be outside of your comfort zone to begin with, but HEY, if you keep doing what you've been doing you'll always get what you've always gotten, right?

ever tried to look sexy in their eyes? :-) Guys usually see the look first, I'm sure the moment they realize how sexy you actually are they will no longer consider you as a sister, dear plain Jane :-) Get a new haircut, try other kinds of clothes, sexier and totally different from the ones you usually wear - that's gonna stop them from seeing you as a sister :-) Talk as usual, but sometimes touch them "by accident" and just spontaneously, if a hot guy passes by just tell them you think he was hot, try to make them jealous sometimes... That should work :-)

don't change who you are too much. that's a really nice thing that you are known for. but maybe you can stop calling them names that would indicate that you are just their sister. i don't believe that you are not GF material. it's just that they feel so comfortable around you that they tend to forget that.
i suggest that you don't act too much like them (one of the boys). but you can still be there for their stories. believe me, there is someone out there who loves girls like you. even if you are a 'plain jane'. and usually those guys are the ones who seek long term relationships. because they know that you are beautiful from inside.

If you like a guy you have to make it known you are flirting with him. You can't just listen in talk. Tell him how hot he looks. Sit really close to him, make little advances. Also if you are friends with a lot of guys some guys may not like that because they might assume you date a lot of guys. Also some guys get jealous when their girlfriends hang out with a lot of guys so I'd make sure you find someone who wont mind that you talk to guys a lot.

Well, i dont think u should try to get into a relationship with the guyz who think ur like a sister to them.. The next time u meet a guy, try to show him that u like him by dropping sublte hints like smiling at him etc..
And be there when he needs u the most, and dont act all pally with him, think of him as ur future partner and u'll b fine. Cheers

dudette all you need to do is dress to impress, just throw on some lip gloss some tight jeans a cute shirt and guys will find the appealing you. keep the sister thng down thats good guys would love that but push the fact that you have more to offer.

you sound like a great girl!!!! no need to act like a hooker - consider the types of guys you're interestedin - want ones who compliment your personality? there's probably a few "plain jane" guys you know right now who would move heaven and earth for a date with you!! fix the hair, compliment yourself - not every one likes a britney spears beaver look a like - be yourself.
