Try Apple Cider Vinegar. Smells weird but works extremely well.

Just take a cotton ball and sock it with the apple cider vinegar diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio and pat it all over your face before you sleep.
The next day you'll have a even skin tone and best of all it's CHEAP!! :)

You should read Laura Jefferson’s book "Skin Whitening At Home" ( I saw it's also available in electronic format +video: http://www.skinwhiteningathome.com ). After 8 weeks I managed to get my skin a few tones whiter and I also got rid of freckles.

The method she teaches in her book is natural, inexpensive, and is readily available in most homes. You could even find some ingredients in your own backyard. The most wonderful thing about the method she shares in her book is that it will help you whiten or lighten your skin pigmentations, freckles, age spots, acne marks, dark underarms, melasma, or your overall skin color easily and naturally without breaking your bank or producing dangerous side effects. Good Luck!

it all begins with ur cleaser- make sure you are choosing one that is suitable for you skin (ie. oily, dry, combo) === according to ur skin type you will want to use a moisturizer (ie. light for oily- if any and mild for dry) then you will also need a spray on TONER-- (spray on works the best) for a long time i did not use a toner and now that i do, it evens out my skin tone alot!

hope this helps!
there are also a lot of powders/cremes that will help even out the tone of skin for daytime

When I wanted to even my skin tone I cleansed with Nature's Cure (You should be able to find at Krogers in the make- up aisle) skin toner and then applied Cocoa Butter.

Try Mary Kay's Even Complexion Essence. It has worked for every single one of my customers that has tried it. It is clinically shown to restore skin's natural, even tone by helping reduce visible dark spots and reverse skin discoloration. You will see results within 2 weeks, but keep using it! The best results are after about 2 months of use. But, unlike other treatments, the results last! You won't have spots reappear. The bottle will last about 3-6 months. And, it is guaranteed so if it doesn't work, you can refund or exchange depending on your consultant.

this is going to sound weird but it works. if you have dark circles under your eyes use a yellow concealer under your makeup. to minimize redness use a light green concealer under your makeup. this is good if you have blemishes, or wind burn. you can buy these concealer sticks at a drug store for about 5 bucks each. they come in a lipstick tube and i believe maybeline makes them. for your other skin try aveeno calming moisturizer. if you have dark spots on your elbows and knees try exfoliating, or an at home microderm abrasion kit on these areas. don't mess with at home chemical peels, because you could burn your skin.

I like the Aveeno Ultra-Calming lotion as well as Bare Minerals makeup (doesn't feel like makeup, and is easy to apply).
