I've met my last two boyfriends (including my husband) on Gothic Personals (http://www.waningmoon.com/gothicpersonals/) It's worth a try. If you live in or near a city, try going to a goth club (listing:http://www.vamp.org/Gothic/clublist.html) and start chatting to someone there. My best advice is to just keep looking and not feel hopeless over the whole thing. Love will find you when you least expect it. Good luck.

Well, are you trying to go out with him because you really click with goth boys, or just to tick a box off in some sort of dating checklist of yours? "Cowboy, check. Bad Boy, check. Shy guy, check..." No offense meant where none is needed, but that sounds a bit shallow. Don't worry about knocking another subcultural category off of your to-date list. Try focusing on like interests and personality instead. Like cooking? Go to a cooking class and see who you meet. Like dancing? Lacrosse? Science? Sign up and see who you meet. Hopefully you'll find someone who'll make a amazing boyfriend. Good luck!

be patient. who knows, when you least expect it, a good guy could pop right into your life and he'll probably be better for you than if you tried to look for a specific "type" of guy.
