It means he likes the way you look, but it doesn't necessary means that he likes you as a person.

If a guy says you look good, it means one of the following (don't go by the order):
1. He says that automatically out of manners he was taught.
2. He says it b/c he thinks it is what you want to hear.
3. You look so stunning that anyone would say it.
4. You look much improved by comparison to what you looked like before.
5. He likes your body.
6. He likes how you dress, do your hair, etc.
7. He totally likes you in every way but doesn't know you well enough to be straightforward about it or is shy. He hopes you know what he means.
You will never know which of the above he means unless you have more information. What is his tone of voice, how long does he actually look at you, where does he look, does there appear to be a long tent pole midway between his pockets?

I don't think a compliment is the basis to start a relationship with.
I am happily married, but that does not keep me from letting other people of the opposite sex know that they look nice today. and giving those compliments is not anything more than making someone feel good about them self because I noticed that they spent a little extra time to look nice.
On the other hand, I have to say that when I was single, I did tend to save my compliments for those people that I might be interested in. So if someone gives you a compliment, graciously thank them, and if you feel as though you would like to get to know them better, then by all means do so!

If a guy says you look good, then you look good. He very well may be interested in you, but don't read too much into compliments. I've had guy friends tell me I look good when I know they have absolutely no intention of getting with me because I know they have a girlfriend.
Chances are, if he likes you, he'll probably show more interest than just telling you that you look good.

No, attraction never implies feelings in any context. If a guy likes you he does a little more than tell you that you're attractive. He would either be direct or show you through action. Never assume. That is the quickest way to get your heart broken. For example..you may have a killer smile that he finds absolutely amazing but this doesn't mean you're his personality type. So be careful, chill out and let him make the first move. Chances are he's falling for you and any day now he'll confess his feelings. If not, nothing lost..nothing gained.

Not necessarily. Sometimes “you look good” actually just means “you look good” nothing more nothing less. I mean there may be the possibility but it’s a 50/50 thing, it doesn’t mean he automatically likes you because he tells you that you look good. Just like if you were to tell someone that they look good, it doesn’t always mean that you like them, it just means they look good.

It all depends on the guy:
1st: You can be sure that he is trying to flirt!
2nd: If he's just the flirting type, then he might just be doing it for fun, but if he isn't the big flirt, he likes you!

It's better to just think they're complimenting your looks. If they do like you chances are they'll give a few other clues as well.

Not necessarily....he could just be paying you a compliment or he could be interested in you. How does he act in addition to saying that you look good? Does he talk to you? How is his body language? All of this is important but good luck!

No it just means that he likes your body... If he says he likes some other stuff about you like your personality. There is more to a girl than their body... So if he says you look good then he is just attracted to your body... maybe you should find out what else he likes about you. If its just your body then maybe he wants to do ya
