I want the love of God to be shown to the world tonight in the form of understanding and truth.

Prayer is worthless. There is no love of God, because there is no God.
If you want the truth, open your eyes.

You can try, but what is the use of praying that the whole world will see the truth, something which is impossible, because God Himself says that most will not see the truth. Only those who are His sheep will see the truth or hear His voice and follow Him. But the majority of the world has been predicted to close their eyes and reject the truth.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own,[c] and His own[d] did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

God shows His truth to the whole world every night (and day for that matter) the problem is many people tune it out, like a channel on TV that they click right past. Seen it, not interested, moving on.
I'll say a prayer that the world sees His truth tonight and actually pays attention.

He would like to do that and even if He did, people have free will. I have been praying that for a long time. The truth is He will not make anyone love Him or believe in Him. That is their choice. But we can at least pray that the Truth be Given. I will tell you the truth of Christ but will you believe or accept go to gospelofthenazirenes. the original New Testament before Constantine misconstrued everything. Also go to krishnaculture. for The most recent representative of God named Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada. Read Bhagavad Gita as it is Translated by Prabhupada Krishna (God) also known as Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. Spoke it Himself 5,000 years ago. That is the Absolute Truth Are you ready to accept if not then how do expect the whole world to believe.

HE did it from the very beginning by giving all humans CHOICES.
That is called FREE WILL!
The world and peoples are as they are because this is the choice
that the world, collectively has made. Too, the world could have and can make other choices!
GOD is not going to dictate HIS will on every choice that we make. That would take away free will! And to make humans perfect, they have to have free will!
We all know that we have Free Will, we all know that we can chose! That is GODS TRUTH!
You should stop making excuses and make better choices!

God does not want man to know the truth nor know him, for he has hardened their hearts so that they are not cognizant of spiritual things. Squandering away their inheritance to sensual things and exchanging truth for a lie, bound hand and foot to the cave of illusions. Just like that only one sperm cultivates the egg in the mother womb so is it with mankind, only a few will ever achieve birth. For you all are dead and have never lived, just as its given: Many are called few are chosen.

You have the opportunity to spread the love of God by being a positive agent of doing good to others. Living your beliefs in actions that support others is far better than some pray-a-thon.

Ya' know what - if god wants to stand up and prove himself tonight - I'm ready. I don't believe it will happen for a second but, I assume that if he exists, then he is more than capable of convincing everybody with about as much effort as it takes you and I to twitch our eyebrows.

if you want to see the understanding and truth that you believe your God is capable of providing, then look/smell/touch/taste/listen around you and revel at the glorious entirety of existence which you are a part of. that should be truth and understanding enough. if you believe in that.
