What are some good home remedies for marks and blemishes left from acne?

I recently had an ugly break out on my forehead. I used to have a home remedy that cleared up the marks that are left from acne but I forgot what it was since I haven't had a break out in a while. Please Help!

1/2 warm water[open up the pore]
