Let her make her mistake and face the consequences; when she is brokenhearted and crying, you have the power of saying to her that you were there looking out for her the whole way through.

Then she'll remember you as a wonderful and loyal friend!
But short-term, you should just keep trying to talk to her about it - talk to the guy too, but don't place yourself too deep into the situation because it isn't your relationship, no matter how much you care about your friend.

I agree with you that it is indeed A BAD IDEA, a very bad idea. Their relationship is likely to end when he gets tired of her. As a friend, you could only advise her. I believe suggesting marriage before she "lose(s) it" will frighten him away. However, it will be she, and she alone, who has to make the decision and face up to the consequences of her decision/action. As a friend, just be around her and let her know that you are and will be supportive.

Tell her the truth about the guy----do you know anyone that he cheated with--get them to talk to her.
Sorry, but I'm old and I have to say it---you guy's shouldn't be having sex any way----boy's will say anything to get a girl in bed.
