Including his most complex creation, human beings. People say God is perfect and wise in all ways, yet we show disdain for anything he allegedly created unless it appears to be "infused" with holy power or "sanctioned" to be holy by someone we accept as "closer to God" than the common man. By their very premise, everything is created by God, means He owns everything and everyone of us. What pray tell, gives us the audacity to hurt or destroy anything? Unless in some corner of peoples hearts, they don't truly believe everything they've learned about God. Making them hypocritical and judgmental at best. Why are they that way?

Bubba preachers have corrupted just about every part of the Bible. The first one I can recall was Paul (corrupting Jesus' message) when he wrote all those letters to his friends when he wanted to extend his church to include the Gentiles.

My point: If these Bubba Christians treat the Bible with no respect then of course they will treat all of God's children with no respect, and then they --- well I am sure you get the point.

I think it is just the sin nature. Little children will pull the pets hair or siblings hair to just hurt. But it is the parent duty to discipline child, teaching to not hurt others.

I don't believe every thing I have learned about God, because some of the stuff isn't true. I have the Holy Spirit that leads into all truth and isn't a liar. I do learn, mature, grow in trusting, obeying God.

When a persone is born again, person has put on Christs righteousness. Some Christians don't realize who they are in Christ. They think they need to do things to be more righteous. Then when others don't think or do the same things, they get judgmental. And it is based on self righteousness, not Christ righteousness.

We are all different and we need to appreciate others differences. God made us to be different because God likes it that way.

You will get someone who says they know for a fact God exists because before they knew God their life sucked. Then they found God and all these miraculous things happened. Well what about the people who have always known God but they are raped and murdered by others who believe in God? Why do people say God helped them survive during hurricane Katrina but God didnt save the little 2 year old child who lived next door, that drowned?

most of the hurting and all you cant prove it is christians doing it. there are a lot of people out there that do not believe in God. and there are many who dont follow the Bible. and many who claim to be christian and still dont follow the Bible. i eat meat and all and the Bible says the meat is for us. after the flood we were told by God that the meat as far as animal meat was for us to eat as well. along with the plants. i dont try to hurt anyone. once in a while i put my kids in corner so i probally hurt there feelings but other then that. i love everyone. just not there actions sometimes.

and you have to remember some people say they believe in God but dont follow his words. some dont believe in the Bible. and look at satan. and anyone who follows him. most of them believe there is a God but choose satan. and satan knows for a fact there is a God and look at him.

People take things for granted. Like air. if you didn't have air anymore you would cetrtainly miss it. But what do we do? we spray the air with harmful chemicals, we have major pollutants from factories, we totally disregard this gift God provides for us. We're selfish and self serving.

I agree. This is an excellent question and observation. All who read it should carefully consider it. But-- since I am supposed to be giving an answer-- I think it is because we are weak and not following Him faithfully-- and it is often tragic.

Who are these people you speak of? You are going to have to be more specific since most Christians I know of don't act anything like that.

i imagine that a good number of folk say that they have got self assurance because "this is the component to do" It makes them experience strong about themselves and they stay lower than a veil of fantasy. as long as they could fool others they could even commence to fool themselves. Self rightousness is nearly a drug. i quite have self assurance that there are strong human beings obtainable who do strong issues unselfishly. yet there are also a good number of others who do strong really even as somebody else is gazing. faith does extra damage than strong.

As Jesus told Pilate, authority is given from heaven to those who govern us. Part of their responsibility is to care for those whom they serve.
As to why we don't pay respect - what answer would you like? Sin, ignorance, rebellion, stupidity?
