First I will describe myself. I am 16, 5'7, 138 pounds, long blonde hair, blue eyes, good complexion, soft features, bra size 34 C... Okay maybe I'm taking this a little too far, I'll describe my personality now.

I laugh a lot, I'm optimistic, goofy, laid back, and considerate. I don't lie a lot or manipulate or whine too much. I think my worst traits are that I'm kinda spacey, ditzy, and straightforward. I don't like to hurt people's feelings, but I usually answer questions honestly, even if it stings a little. Also, sometimes I'm not a good listener because I get distracted. I'm kind of a southern belle type, but I'm not prissy or anything. My close friend tells me that all these things just make me really cute, and I want to believe him, but here's the problem: For some reason I seem to attract a bunch of wierdos. Not nerdy but sweet wierd or anything, just stalkerish or.... odd behavior he-has-issues kind of wierd. It's kind of a blow to my confidence.

PS- I understand that teenage boys are crazy hormonal and none of them a completely sane, but someone semi-sane would be nice.

There are very few relatively sane teenage boys. Do you know any boy who could handle such a wonderful profile that you have written?

Here's my theory. Regarding your profile. One-third of guys like it, but don't know how to communicate. One-third are stunned by it and don't know what to do with it. One-third don't like it because they feel intimidated by it.

I think you are too beautiful to change anything. You will find the guy you want. You are a winner, never a loser.

First, any semi-attractive girl will attract some odd ball guys {same for good looking guys they attract all the odd girls}. The nicer you are and the better looking you are the odd- o meter goes up. If you are, nice friendly, pretty and attractive {there IS a difference between pretty and attractive} you can count on 2 things the weird guys will make a bee line to you, and the good catch guys will have a hard time connecting with you for fear you will turn them down. Many many pretty / nice girls have problems getting dates. Ever see a really good looking girl with and average guy? It is cause he had the confidence to ask and she found out he was a good catch. You sound like a sweet attractive and pretty girl to me, hang in there your prince will come!

It's been said over and over again... there is no such thing as a sane teen age guy.

The spacey and ditzy comments you made about yourself may be the problem. These traits may be attracting guys that think you're too stupid to figure out that they're defective.

Hmm, that's a tough one. Maybe you're just hanging around the wrong kind of groups or the guys you want to be approached by are a little threatened by you for some reason. Sometimes guys have a little inferiority going when it comes to approaching the really desirable and pretty girls. I don't know. Talk it over with your friends and see if they can give you some feedback. Good luck.

Hey girl, I am in the SAME BOAT as you!!!

I am 19 years old and for some reason I always attract pyschos. I am not talking oh he's odd, but freakin WEIRD/stalker-ish.

My friends say it's because I am "too nice" and friendly to everyone and that makes them feel like I like them.

I don't know if that is you or not, but if you are TOO nice or TOO friendly to EVERYONE, then some of the weirdos are going to read your friendliness as interest.

There is no such thing as a relatively sane teenage boy. Teen-times are about being insane and having a blast for a guy.

I totally can relate to your experience. Guys in high school are, in my opinion, immature and horny. The thing is, they only seem to want girls that are "easy" (if you get my drift). Don't sell yourself out, sweetie! Save yourself for a guy that can respect you and your decisions and truly appreciates you for who you are :) . Even if it's during college or after. Trust me, it's better to wait for a good thing than setting yourself up for a negative experience. Good luck!

people that are too straight forward are often faced with that. chill it out, the truth hurts, but you don't always need to hurt people. the people that might like you, well they probably think that if they ask you out, you'll blow them out straightaway, and be mean to their face....which i can tell you have probably done before.

try being nicer??? i dunno, how about trying not to speak before you think.

also, guys like intelligent girls. i would never date a girl, even if she was a supermodel, if she was stupid. sorry, that's the way it is, and a lot of guys are like that. #1 thing guys looks for is looks, second is smarts.

From the sounds of it you probably attract all the young guys everywhere you go. You just have to get better at picking which ones you date I guess.

It might be because of your friends.... I don't know who you hang out with, but most guys will base what kind of person you are by how your friends act whether or not they know you.
