This guys has been an awesome friend, he will be leaving for the army soon and I am in love with him, but because I am so close to him I dont know how to tell him. I trust him with my life, I trust him with anything and he trusts me also..I am comfortable enough with him to tell him, thats not the problem. The problem is what if he does not feel the same twords me, and by telling him I ruin our regular friendship completely? I would rather write him an e-mail but I'm not sure If I should! Hes everything I want in a guy and I get that special feeling when I'm thinking about him or when I'm with him. He's such a friendly guy to almost everyone thats its hard to read him. He has also made comments about another girl, I ask him if he was interested in her seriously and he said yes~ I dont want to ruin our friendship! But I would love to be more then friends! WHAT DO I DO!

Tell him! Seriously its the best thing to do. You don't want to regret it 10 years from now and say geeze what could have been. Thats the worst thing that could happen. And look on the bright side, since you all are so close maybe he feels the same way about you but just doesn't have the courage to tell you either. Try it. I think its very cute that you feel this way about him and i really hope he feels the same way about you too. Best of luck to you and happy new year.

I would tell him. I was in a similar situation, and I found out that my best friend (who happens to be a guy) felt the same way about me. You say that he makes comments about another girl, how do u know that it's not you he's talking about. Tell him because you'll never be able to live without yourself if you let him get away!

Put the moves on him . not sexually but in a nice way
get him in a pvt situation get close to him purr a Little
put your arms around him and kiss him . Tell him you cant
help yourself and tell him how you feel.. a girl did that to me once
and we had a long great relationship.

jus be cool, because this happend to my bestfriend... she hooked up the guy she was inlove with for 13 months with her former best friend... when she finally got the nerve 2 tell him, he didnt think she was GIRLFRIEND MATERIAL because they been friends 2 long... DONT GET DISCOURAGED, sometimes guys use third person in a corversation 2 get you to spill, if your emotions are running while, invite him over, explain how you feel, and wait for his reaction!!!!!

definitely tell him, directly, might be hard to do but feel the fear and confess.
