This is a quote from an answer given not to long ago.
What do you think,Christians? Are the powers these people seem to possess truly gifts from god to be used to help others? Or is it completely different?
Why do you think that?

Truth is from G-d

Lies are from Satan.

If the science is true it will confirm G-d.

Well, first, I think that the question itself shows a level of education completely unqualified to understand the answer.

The word "physics" is not a plural, but singular. If you don't know what physics is, how can you even know if "it", not "they" could be an instrument of Satan.

Physics is the science that describes how the universe works. IT is what makes possible such things as your computer, your automobile, radio, telephone and cell phone. It describes how a wheel rolls down a hill, or how to build a bridge sufficient to support the traffic moving across it. Are these things instruments of Satan?

And what people and powers are you talking about?

I just had a realization that you might be talking of Psychics, and if you are, I have a bit of a problem with the spelling.
Such are not instruments of Satan. Christians may fear them, but it comes from a lack of understanding. They equate it with necromancy and such. It's not fortune telling. It's simply a well-tuned intuition. A mother "feels" her child is in danger and dashes out the door to see the child in the street; A twin feels the passing of her sister; These are examples of psychic events.

A Psychic on the telephone may or may not be for real. Many are simply people with good observation skills. Still, there are psychics who are talented. This is why they are sometimes called on by police. A former president often used the services of a psychic.

To those who don't believe, it's fantasy or clever duping. It really doesn't matter. Like religion, those who believe do, those who don't won't.

There has been enough evidence to interest the government in its use, but while statistically significant evidence was shown, it wasn't reliable enough to use as a military tool.

Anyway, that's my answer to the two possible questions you posed.

Depends on what they are psychic about? Do they charge money for or otherwise promote their ability? Do they often perform on demand? What do they testify to concerning their results? Do they claim ESP, great intuition, ability to move objects mentally, healing ability, contact with angelic spirits or spirits of the dead? Do they enter a trance? Is it a TV show or a night club act? Is the persons life, talent and gifts surrendered to Christ? Do these gifts glorify the Lord Jesus Christ? Does the Holy Spirit confirm their work or words through another Christian? Does everything stay in line with the Scripture?

Psychic ability covers a wide range of things and could be considered to include prophecy. I think you must look at things on a case by case basis. I would question anything outside an assembly of believers and expect confirmation in the Spirit for that which takes place within any assembly.

My own opinion is that all the gifts of the Spirit are available to any assembly of believers that have the faith and love needed to operate those gifts. I believe that those gifts are given as the Holy Spirit leads and do not depend upon "powers that people possess."

Anything other than God is the work of the devil. There is a very real spiritual world out there. Psychics, witchcraft, horoscopes etc. The reason they all seem to have something is because they do. There are real spiritual things going on there. The thing is that they're not from God. The devil will use powerful spiritual things to deceive people into believing anything but God. The bible warns about it many times. The way to tell if someone is operating from God or not is, are they a born again Christian. Are they doing things in Jesus name and giving the glory of their gift to God. The bible warns to not be deceived!!

When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in [a] the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 18:9-13

Oh dear, looks like nothing much has changed since the middle ages.

I dabbled in some physics at school. Some people told me it was fun and you could really learn, like, a lot of good **** and stuff, but I generally kept right away from it. Maybe Physics rot your brain. Why I'm so smart, eh??

Definitely not true. Physics is the study of the nature of what God made. Physics is good and sometimes even leads scientist to the conclusion that there must be a God.

If you look in the bible under 1 Corinthians 12:8-11 it saya that one of the gifts from the holy spirit is a sixth sense. So the answer is that they are gifts from God.

Yes that is right, Pshychics are tools of Satan they are the lure he uses to get people in, and to get power over them Please keep away from them They are only Satan's way of luring people in to the occult and Satan is not intereseted in your well being at all, The Bible says that Satan is a manslayer that is because he is the cause of humans loosing everlasting life, he is now trying his hardest now to get as many as he can from getting it back, if you really and trully want to know the truth about the future then go to God's Word the Bible it is where you can find this truth about the future! God knows that the occult will not bring you any true benefit, and he advises us in his Word to keep away from spiritism.(Leviticus19:31). Do not think that Satan's methods of getting people tofollow him are always easy to see. He is a master at fooling people. His methods over the thousands of years have infact, been so clever that today, many people do not even believe that he exists. To them wickedness and evil are simply normal conditions that will always be. Satan operates much like modern-day crime leaders who put on a front of being respectable, but who, behind the scenes, do very wicked things. The Bible explains:"Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light."(2Corinthians11:14) Thus we can expect that his schemes for misleading people would often appear innocent, even beneficial.
Recall that Satan posed as a friend to Eve. Then he tricked her into doing what she thought would be for her own good.(Genesis3:4-6) It is the same today. For example, through his human representatives Satan cunningly encourages people to put the interests of human governments even above above their service to God. This has given birth to the to the spirit of nationalism, resulting in terrible wars. In recent times Satan has moved people to bring forth various schemes in their search for peace and security, One of these is the United Nations. But has this created a peaceful world?Far from it! Rather, it has proved to be a means of turning the people's attention away from God's arrangement for bringing peace to mankind, in his incoming kingdom under Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace." (Isaiah9:6 ; Matthew6:9,10).
If we want to receive everlasting life, we need accurate knowledge about God and his kingdom.(John17:3)You can be sure that Satan the Devil does not want you this knowledge, and that he will do all in his power to stop you from getting it. How will he do this? One way is by seeing to it that you receive opposition, perhaps in the form of ridicule. The Bible tells us:"All those desiring to live with Godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted(2Timothy3:12)

I don't believe physics are the instruments of Satan. My guess is that whoever said that is brainwashed into their religion. Here is my theory: Science without religion is illogical. Religion without science is blind.
