How do you look on camera? You could be very active, with toned muscles, and be a good model. Or you could be skinny, with some extra flab on your hips and tummy.

You definitely don't need to lose weight, and without seeing a picture of you, you may be in good enough shape for modeling right now. If you are skinny with a little extra fat, the best way to get model-ready is to exercise and gain muscle - you'll need it to keep your balance and position for long photo shoots.

And your 110 pound friend? She could be one of those "skinny, but flabby" people too!

You are totally not fat! A 5ft person should weigh 100 lbs then add 5lbs for every inch so that would mean you could weight like 140lbs. Do you play sports because even a little excersice can make you much thinner. your friend is prob. lighter bcuz. shes short and maybe shes a bit more tone. Either way good luck

depending on your body composition (amount of body fat that you have) 5'8 and 130 lbs is a little light, you could probably stand to gain some lean body mass in some areas...

at 110 lbs unless your friend is about 5'2 she is very underweight and probably skinny fat (high body fat percentage but not much size)

OH MY GOD!!! Your friend really isn't a friend at all if you ask me. No, you're not fat! I'm bigger than you are for crying out loud! And you can still be a model...we need healthier, curvier models anyways!!! Go for it!

Models come in all shapes and sizes. You need to be happy with how you look and don't listen to this supposed friend who is trying to squash your dream.
