Yes, technically we are animals, in science. In spirituality, we are apparentely God's children.

Genesis one is primitive theology from Abraham's home area the Ur of Chaldees. Gen. 1 separates human creation as in God's Image. Gen. 2 gives man's perspective as having the Spirit/breathe - same word in Hebrew - of God, and exclusive to humanity.
Conclusion: Not animals, children.

You are obviously endangering yourself by trying to think so deeply. And really, find a way to use spell check.
I don't think this questions merits my time to answer, but heck, I wasted 30 seconds reading it, so..........
As humans, we are animals. Mammals to be precise. Warm blooded, live birthing, mammals. As far as we know, we are the most intelligent creatures on the planet, but with questions like yours, that is debateable.
Jesus and the sheep is symbolism. A sheperd watches over his flock, just as God watches over us. He doesn't treat us like dogs. I don't know what part of your empty brain cavity you got that from.
The rest of it, the animal urges of sex....that's part of our primitive survival insticts. Oh, and I have no desire for you, blond hair or otherwise. Get a grip, Chip.

NO we are surely a special project more important than other 'animals'. We do however have a tremendous gift of free will and we are simply not perfect. No one alive has any proof nor record of God ever promising humans they will be perfect. There are more than enough horrible people that the earth is spiritually polluted...

too bad, huh?

Yes, we are all animals. Humans are no different than the rest, we are just a bit more advanced. Just like to us, worms and apes are basically the same thing, one is just far more advanced than the other.

Gee, isn't it obvious? Of course we are, if you could to believe that illusion. God is God. I am Me, yes. Me. You are you. Yes, You. Who cares about the rest.

Being an "animal' of ANY kind is not a negative or bad thing; it just IS.
