Your best bet is to purchase a wedding planning book. This way you can keep and write all the information in there. Also subscribe to wedding magazines, they have some good tips and some guidelines for you. Wedding planning books are a great way to keep things organized. You can also store things in them from magazines, write important phone numbers, and they have a checklist of things to do. Go to your local bookstore to purchase one or you can look at the ones in the link below. I would look at these and get a feel for what you want. Then go to Barnes & Noble (or another bookstore like it) and they will most likely have the same ones there. I prefer to look at it in person so you can pick one that suits you well. This is also good to take with you while appointments (especially since you can not take your computer with you).

I used theknot.com for my wedding in 2005. I loved it! They have checklists by month, a financial budget list, address book, etc. You can also "bookmark" wedding and bridesmaids dresses that you liked, as well as other things like tuxedos, wedding gifts, etc.
I suggest backing your address list up in an Excel spreadsheet just in case. That way you can copy/paste the list for your bridal shower, bachelorette party, thank you cards, etc. as well as make labels for whatever won't be hand-addressed.
The coolest part of the website is that you can update your guests with all sorts of information - they can even RSVP on the site. You fill out a section about how you met, your wedding party, location and times of your wedding, and more.
Hope this helps!
Congrats!

try theknot.com I have been using it and it has been helpful. If that doesn't steer you in the right direction you can always ask your mom, aunts, cousins, or married friends for help. I find that the best advice comes from people who have already been trough the process. If your budget permits, find a wedding coordinator.

Great website, you can even set up a wedding website for free. I think there's another one called weddingchannel.com that's pretty good, but I'm partial to theknot.com. Congrats and good luck!
