Im 14 Im 130 lbs. and im 5 ft. I want to lose weight really badly!!! How many pounds should I be losing per week? Also,what are some really good food choices?and also, what exercises are best for my sides, stomach, back, and inner thighs?

*I will give the best answer to whoever can answer my question most thoroughly

Try not to lose more than about 2 pounds a week. That way, it will be more likely to stay off. No fad diets. You need to reduce your calorie intake & increate exercise. Try first by eating smaller portions & increasing fiber (salads, veggies). Lots and lots of water. No soda, no juice (too much sugar).... don't even drink diet drinks, they increase water retention. If you start by walking or jogging 20 mins a day (or even every other day), and watch what you eat, you'll be surprised how quick it will start to come off!!

Once you are used to a short cardio program, start by doing some sit ups... the exercise ball is good too & has a small program included when you purchase. Buy some hand weights and do a little light arm work. Also, for butt and thighs... lunges are awesome... just do it across the room. At first it's kinda tough, but once you get stronger, increase how many you do and you'll see your thighs and butt get tighter in no time! Good luck

Don't stress over your weight. You're in your prime growing years and you'll be surprised at how much your body will change in the next 3-5 years. Make sure that your Body Mass Index is in line with your height and age. Your school nurse or gym teacher should be able to help you with this.

If you and the nurse or coach feel you need to loose weigh then you should check into the weight watchers plan. For exercise just get out and walk at least 30 minutes per day. If you want to do some other type of exercise check into pilates...it builds long strong muscles that aren't bulky.

You are 14 years old, don't be so obsessed with your weight!The best exercise you can do is WALKING.Start out some each day and add a bit each day. You must change your way of eating. Eat less. No sugar, use sweeteners. No bread,if possible. You can eat sandwiches without the bread. Eat salads,but mind what dressings you use. Fresh vegetables are good.Lean meats.Hope this helps you, but 130lbs. @ 5ft. does not sound all that big.REMEMBER! Most of the time it's not the food you eat but what you put on it, such as baked potato.

The best way to loose diet is exercise. Walking is a good exercise. Diet also plays a main role in loosing weight. Avoid excessive carbs. Maintain a balanced weight. Avoid trans and saturated fats cos they cause several other complications.
