Nobody here can honestly answer your question without first knowing how tall you are. Then you BMI (Body Mass Index) can be figured out which is the relation of your weight to how tall you are. The BMI scale is what doctors use to determine if someone is overweight. Don't listen to the smart a** comments here. If you are truly concerned ask your parent/guardian to take you to see your doctor so you can discuss your concerns with a qualified medical professional. Just remember that you are young and if you feel like you are overweight you could be going through a growth spurt right now and your weight will fluctuate. Weight does not determine if a person is good or bad. Integrity does. See a doctor. That is really the only way you will know for sure. Don't get involved with fad diets or eating disorders. It will only make things more complicated in the future. Good Luck!!

Overweight pre-teens have the thick, stiff arteries of a 45-year-old smoker, according to new research that shows there's more going on with fat children than doctors may realize.
Researchers who tested 82 overweight and obese children found signs of "vascular dysfunction" in children as young as nine. Ultrasound pictures revealed their carotid arteries -- the arteries that feed blood to the brain -- were thickening, and that large blood vessels in their arms were not dilating properly.
The results "matched those of a 45-year-old adult who had been smoking for more than 10 years," lead researcher Dr. Kam Woo said in a statement issued by the American Heart Association. "Compared to normal-weight children, by adulthood they are three to five times more likely to suffer a heart attack or stroke.
The good news is that the damage can be partially reversed through exercise and a healthier diet, starting with something as simple as eating more fruits and vegetables and eating more high-fibre foods such as whole grains.
Also, kids should get back into the habit of doing fun things like walking, cycling, walking the dog, playing games outside, going to the park. Doing things with the family and friends that are not necessarily structured play." Sedentary children who are not exercising should aim for 30 minutes of exercise a day to start.

Yes you are and it could get worse, i suggest you take up some kind of excercize and start eating more veggies and cut out any fast food. Jogging is really good.
Someone just toldl a 12 year old to go on a fast or diet, thats the worst thing you want to do. Excercize and limit your portions.

you are overweight for your age. Im 5'3 1/2 and i was told my doctor that i couldn't weight over 145 and im and adult. I weight 125. First of all dont start trying to diet on your own. tell you parents you want to go to the doctor and nutritionist to set up a meal and exercise plan for you. you need to loose atleast 10 lbs but as a young kid its not healthy to diet on your own. tell your mom your concerned about this and she can help you.

Well it also depends how tall you are. If your 5 foot 3 or taller your fine. If your shorter than just go on a fasting diet. Eat nothing and just drink water the whole time, you'll lose tons of weight in no time. Don't worry! If you need anymore help you can message me.

yes.. normal is 100-110 lbs at your age... Your still young and i'ts not yet too late to lose weight... exercise daily, do jogging, or anything you want.. important is, you should take 20 minutes because that's the only time you can lose weight.. if you just exercised for 5-15 minutes, it will be no use.. GoodLuck!!

well its not that your over weight, its just you're (and i mean this in the best way i can, not trying to be mean.) short for your weight, but don't weary ur almost 13, 13 is the age you start growing BIG TIME (getting taller, mostly) and when you get taller everything will stretch out and fight better....but it wouldn't hurt if you started running or something a little more....good luck
