There is a lot of reasons why you have troubles falling asleep. While I can't suggest the cause, being the fact that I don't know much about your problem, I can tell you somw ways to deal with it. Fisrt off, the best thing you can do is tire yourself ouot before you sleep. Run a mile, do some cardio or whatever you love doing. This wears you out and makes you more relaxed. Do this, shower, watch some tv/read a book, and have some nice healthy sleep. Oh, and whatever you do, stay of the sleeping pills or medication ( side effects).

What I do when I wake up during the night and have a hard time going back to sleep, is I turn on the radio and find some real easy listening music and lay back down and pretty soon I am gone back to sleep. Maybe this will work for you. also if this continues then you might want to see your dr.

Well being so young at the time all adolescents go through that stage. As time progress and you get older ,you will get to sleep early. being young your body is going through stages and different things are happeing to the body. So when you can't get to sleep get up take a walk to the kitchen get a glass of water. Go to bed and just lay there and let your body relax till you fall asleep. Its best to get enough done in the daytime that gets you tried and makes you fall asleep like exercise or playing basketball.

Take a look at what you eat and drink and maybe try eliminating something that might be affecting you. Also get some physical activity during the day

For starters I would talk to your parents about it. Maybe even see a doctor. Alot of times I think it is a result of stress. So maybe just try to relax and take a hot bath before bed.
