No they would be Ticked off because their drugs wouldn't be able to make it across the border as easily.
We all have seen the footage of Mexican Army escorting drugs across the border. If our troops went there to secure the border and was told to shoot any Mexican military on sight (that is crossing our border) than it would probably escalate into a shooting match and politicians from both sides would be scrambling to smooth it over before the rest of the US found out about it.

And Yes the Mexican Army has been seen crossing our borders.....Insane isn't it.........(the gov knows and still turn a blind eye to this fact) total lunacy

We don't need the military on our borders. The border
patrols can take care of this situation. What the Mexicans
should do is to protest their own government for not
supplying them with decent jobs and pay so they wouldn't
even want to go thro rivers and brushes to come to the
USA. Let's blame Mexico, not US.

it seem the President and former President of Mexico believe United States of America don't have a right to protect it's border by building a Fence!!!
1.) President Mr Calderon said he deplored the move because "the fence doesn't resolve anything".
2.) former Mexican President Vicente Fox called the plans "shameful".
3) Mexico has pledged to challenge the fence at the United Nations, having already appealed to the Organization of American States.

40% of illegals are visa overstays. They fly in on a tourist visa and never go back. Just before Christmas Homeland Security announced it was no longer trying to fast track implement an automated visa exit program to track who leaves and when.

They decided it would be expensive, and apparently after screening them enough to decide they weren't terrorist for a tourist visa (as the 9/11 terrorists were screened) they don't care if they overstay (as at least 5 of the 9/11 terrorists did.)

Write your Congressmen.

I think we should plant mines along the border. Also shoot boats coming here from Mexico and gas all vehicles coming from Mexico with carbon monoxide for 5 minutes.

Using our military on the border is a waste. The feds should properly fund the Border Patrol.

Yah, Yah ...so the Mexicans are bad.
We need to get REAL. It's our own fault here ....all of us for letting them get away with not protecting our hinterland, and our mixed up government for thinking that cheap lawn care and child care are going to make us give up our country.
Of course we could stop them. The party would be over in a week. We just don't really believe in our hearts we should. The politicians are trying to figure a way out of this. Frankly, my concern is that we are going to end up one way or the other, as middleclass people (ya'll are middle class?) taking it in the shorts!

......I don't think we should care what Mexico thinks... if we choose to legally protect our borders and the US citizens.

Mexico has stringent anti-illegal alien protection measures in place at THEIR southern border, and has had them for many years..........and yet they whine when WE want the same?

Hypocrites.
