Okay my boyfriend Casey is such a sweetheart! He always holds my hand and likes to take walks with me.But he is way to prude hes 16 (im 15) and he tells me hes never kissed a girl before.so one day i gave him his frist kiss and he backs up and gos wackoo on me say why i did that? werid when been together for 4 months now that happend last week should i dump him?

Perhaps he's a gentlemen. I know that is a rarity these days, but it is possible. What's wrong with going slow and easy and just enjoying each other's company? Why not enjoy a guy who doesn't see you as just a piece of meat? What a concept. As for the kiss, maybe he wanted your first kiss to be very special. In a world where oral sex is a party game, I think it's sweet that he might think that kisses are special.

Have you ever considered that he may have a very good reason for not wanting to kiss you? Have you ever discussed what a kiss means to him or to you?
There's a book out there called "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" which encourages people not to kiss until they are ready to get married to their partner. Although I don't personally agree with this philosophy, maybe your boyfriend does think of kissing as something more special, more sacred, more personal than you do. Maybe he's at home right now thinking that you're too forward and too promiscuous for throwing yourself at him!
Communication. You need to talk with him, figure out what he's thinking, and come to a mutually agreeable understanding about this.

Before you dump him, ask him why he reacted they way he did? Maybe he was just caught off guard. It is very unusual that a boy of 16 would act that way especially after 4 months of dating, but it may be a moral issue with him. Talk to him and give him a chance to explain his actions. Good luck.

no he's not prude. he's just probably nerve to do it for the first time. for one i'm 16 and my first i was a little scared, but sooner or later he'll get used to the kissing and everything will be okay.

Sounds like a young gentleman. A keeper. If you don't want him I'm sure that there are a lot of other girls who would be thrilled to have a boyfriend who isn't spending all his brain power trying to figure out how to con the girl into having sex.

no don't dump him just talk to him and figure out why he freaked... with every action there is a reason... just take it slow you're only 16 quit worrying so much and live your life and let things come to you on its own time.

You probably took him by surprise. He might have wanted to make the first move and you spoiled things, or he was too shy about it. Talk to him about it and ask him if you can make amends.
