I look at other books. Starhawk is an incredible spiritual writer. Some of the old Celtic proverbs are true masters. One especial quote that I enjoy is this:
There are three things at which a fool laughs:
That which is good.
That which is bad.
That which he does not understand.
Anyway, there is lots of wisdom out there; you just have to look for it.

The Bible and Koran are not of the same root. The Bible is of the true God, and Koran is of the god of this world(Satan). Apart from the Bible there is no other true book (not Buddhist, Hindu, Mormons, Jehovah's Witness, Harri Krishna - because all are Satan influenced
religions).

Nearly every religion has it's own "book of guidance".
But I would recommend the teachings of the Buddha.

Within yourself. Spirtual guidance comes from within. Look deep and ask yourself what you need to do. You know what the answer is already.
