False.
It is fiction alright, but the stories from the Twilight Zone, Amazing Stories, and Tales From The Darkside have more morality, are more thought-provoking, and more entertaining. Although a lot people do enjoy that story about the boat and the animals.

its a fact that the bible is the best selling book of all time.
now, no offense to the people who believe it, but it was written by men, gullible ones at that (most people in that time period would've believed anything), so it's pretty much mostly fiction (theres gotta be SOME truth in it, i admit).
now, as for the quality of the works of fiction in it, u gotta admit that by modern standards they aren't very entertaining either, at least not compared to more modern works of fiction.
so compilation of fictional stories; yes
best stories; not by a long shot.

False. They're not even close to the best stories ever written.
By nearly all measures- a poorly written compilation of tales.

False...But no worries we will all find out soon enough....but in the meantime here's a word to the simple...
if you believe the bible is false, then fine u may feel that you have nothing to lose....that u could go and live your life... and do whatever is right in your own eyes...
But if....just if.... by the slightest chance the Bible is "True"... you have "EVERYTHING" to lose by not believing what it says about "SIN"... "YOU"..and your need for a SAVIOUR... because remember the Bible says your very "SOUL" is at stake.... so my advice to you, and anyone who might be reading this is that, you might want to do some serious soul searching b4 declaring emphatically that the bible is false...especially if you have never read it fully.....
personally i believe that the bible is true... and if i was gambling man i would think its a safer bet to believe it is true, and have nothing to lose, and everything to gain....then to assume it is false, gain nothing, and burn in hell... but hey thats just my view...
whats your's ?
o and in case your wondering what i meant by saying..."here's a word to the simple"..... its because who needs a word to the wise, when its the simple ones who need it the most?
And i noticed a lot of you are trying to be comedians on this subject.....with your jokes about the bible...and if hell was a comedy club, you would be the main attraction...but its not..its a place of torment...so you better b right about the bible being false... or else you will have a front row seat with all the other comedians in hell that thought life was one big laugh factory..instead this time the joke will b on you !!!!
For God So Loved the World that he gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ..that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.... (John 3:16)
The Choice is Yours !!!

False. There are far better anthologies that have more happiness and less violence, if looking for stories with morals. See the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.

True AND False. Obviously it just depends on who you ask. :-) Bottom line: no one living today knows for sure EITHER WAY. Those that believe, believe because they choose to have faith. Those that don't believe "how can you be so sure, you weren't there! - this is stupid I don't have time for this". Both sides have the God-given right (pardon the "pun") to believe and live and choose how they want. And I guess, if there is a Heaven and Hell, we'll ALL find out the truth on our individual Judgement Day.

False! Only to those who are going to the other side, think it so.
Those who are going to perish will not see it otherwise even if they try hard. The best description is given in the book of Daniel.
3 Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.
9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. (Daniel 12:3, 9, 10)

Do a little research. There are so many archeological discoveries that prove that events happened as told in th Bible.
