I have been talking to a someone in iraq and emailing almost everyday for a couple of weeks. and from the moment that he emailed me i was smitten by him...far more than the men that i see here. he called me from iraq and has been so sweet and consistent...we are even sending good ol fashioned letters...he told me that im the only one that hes talking to and he wont be comin home for another year....he told me he liked me and i told him that i felt the same way...but how do i really let him know that i am very interested?
from a guys perspective...what would you want to hear?

To like or to love are two different things, you can like one person today and tomorrow like another one. If you are talking about love, then he should know it, let him make the move, because if he is not feeling the same way he could use that just to have some good time with you. There is nothing wrong for just telling him you like him, you are not going to married him.

The right time is when you feel it. The most important thing is to say it verbally. Don't use hints, gestures, notions or sex to express how you feel. We wont get the picture. Say, "I like you, do you like me?" Be careful though because if he wants some booty he'll say yes when he really doesn't. If he knows he aint getting no booty and he still says yes then give hi a chance to prove it with his actions throughout the next 2 months.
