Does anyone know who was in command of the Eastern and Western Front in World War Two? I'm having trouble finding a clear answer on the web.

I'm not sure exactly what it is that you're asking. Is it in what war was there an eastern and also a western front? If it is a question such as I posed, WW II as the above responders have pointed out, was a war with two fronts: the allies(Britain, the U.S. and presumably France in exile)"confronting" Germany on the western front, and Russia on the eastern. Hypothetically, there could have been I suppose a "southern" and "northern" fronts; but these descriptive terms were never employed in referencing the conflict that I can recall. The terms "front" and "theater" were utilized most often during the war to define particular areas of engagement. I can only deduce that "front" referred to a land area of contact, and "theater" that encompassing a much larger geographical oceanic sphere: i.e., the Pacific theater that was almost solely concerned with Japan. Hope this helps; but next time, try to be a little more specific with a few details, Alberich

Which side? The eastern front was Germany and Russia. The western front was the Allies and Germany. On the West, the Supreme Allied Commander was Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower. He was, of course, answerable to Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt. For the Germans, Field Marshal Irwin Rommel was in command of the Afrika Korps and later he was in command of the defense Europe on D-Day. Field Marshal Kesselring was in command in Italy.
On the eastern front, Field Marshal Zhukov led the Russians. He, of course, answered to Josef Stalin.
The German army was led overall by Alfred Jodl. He was Hitler's chief of staff. He had Generals and Field Marshals over both fronts, but he had the command of both.

From Germany's perspective - the Eastern Front (Russia) and Western Front (France)?

From the US's perspective - Eastern would be Europe and Western would be Asia.

Which one?

I assume you're talking from Germany's perspective. If so, it really comes down to Hitler. He relieved his Corps Commanders repeatedly, but early on von Manstein and von Rundstedt were high in OKW (German High Command)...

Well there were lots of fronts, and lots of high military men in charge. But Churchill mainly. You do not mention a year or which countries. You leave out too much

The west was Rommel and some older guy.
The east had so many divisions that no one but Hitler can be considered in command.
