Both. I was closer to my dad when I was little, but got closer to my mom as an adult.

I got along with both, my dad is gone now, and miss him terribly. I was daddys little girl from day 1 and am an adult now and have been for a long time, but being the only girl--have 4 brothers- I am very close to my mom, we can share anything! To me both were/are important in my life.

Neither is more important. I was always a Daddy's girl, and I'm still crazy about my Dad. My Mom and I are pretty much best friends now. I love them both dearly.

Its sad that i can honestly say my dad. Even though he passed away exactly 2 years ago today, he is still more important to me than my mom.

They are both equally important. However, the situation will warrant which one is more important than the other.

Well, my mom is very important to me because she is the only one who listens to me unlike my father who berates me and verbally abuse me.

I love them both and they both get on my nerves equally. But both grand kids love them so I still have to go see them.
