I also have a cat and last summer we were away for 5 days. I didn't have anyone to feed, water or empty the litter box. I felt terrible about leaving her but she did just fine. She had plenty of dry food left for her and water. I also bought another litter box so she had two to use. She survived just fine except she was lonely. When we returned home she got a huge amount of attention from my whole family. She was in heaven. :) Good luck!

I suppose you could board your cat, but that's expensive. A new cat is generally free. Whenever I go out of town and I happen to have a cat at the time, I simply release the little fella out into the wild. If I feel like having a cat at home when I return I'll just pick up a free kitten from one of the neighborhood kids or just bring home a cat that's roaming the neighborhood.

Leave your cat at home. If you can have some one come and clean the litter box once a day, feed and water the cat. If you can't then leave enough food and water out for your cat and set up an extra litter box next to the first one. This will help your cat to potty in the litter box not the flood.

Any local vet will board your cat for as long as you need. Keeping the cat at home in familiar surroundings would be better if you have a trusted friend or family member who lives close enough to come over once a day to feed and water it, and of course change the litter box.

Put down a couple bowls of water and a couple bowls of food. Give a close friend, who is familiar w/ the cat, a key to your place so they can come change the litter box. Do not take your cat to the friends house. It stresses the cat out too much.

Kittens can get into too plenty too surely so i might propose no. in spite of the undeniable fact that whilst they become older as long as they are nicely behaved cats I see no reason to no longer. I even have 3 cats a protracted time 3-5 and that i've got left them for as long as a week with loads of foodstuff and water, I even have an computerized clutter field and permit them comprehensive run of the homestead. i've got on no account had a topic with it. They do spend the sunlight hours on my own and don't sleep with me at nght so it is not a large deal for them, yet they are continually chuffed as quickly as I come homestead!

If you don't have a trustworthy friend or relative who can come check on the cat and feed/water, try hiring an animal sitter who can come over once and day to feed/water/love and scoop litter. Most cats are good for up to 2 days on their own with plenty of food at water at their pawtips. Contrary to popular belief mine don't give me attitude when I come home, they are usually happy to see me.

Make sure there is plenty of water & a few bowls of food & a clean cat box & nothing it can destroy at access. We leave my cats for days at a time and they do fine.
Or
Have someone come everyday to give it food & check the water.
Or
Have someone stay at your house

There are many a centers like baby care for Cats or many a vetenary hospitals provide the facility where in they take care of your pet while you are away for a nominal fee. You can try calling a local help line for this.
Other solution is you can ask your neighbour to feed your cat while you are away
Third solution is to take your cat with you.

Cat's can go a long time on their own. Just be sure it has plenty of food and water and a clean litter box. Maybe have a friend stop by and check on it...
