i had a crush on this boy for 3years and he never liked me or let me see he liked me until recently. he told his brother if we start "talking in that way" he wont leave for college but stay down here. my friends tell me to pretend to not like him so he wont feeled pressured to stay but i do like him alot and i dreamed of this for a while. and he's in college now down here and he likes it, he has a job here and family but nothing there where he wants to go for college. and im afraid if he does leave he'll come back married or sumthin. am i being selfish, should i just let him go

its not like if he doesnt leave his future is over. he's in college now and just wanted to transfer somewhere farther. where he knows no one all his family everyone is here. he's the one who came up wit the idea of staying for me and now im just considering agreeing wit him

Don't be so selfish and let him go to college.
You have a young Man's whole life in your hands here, does he stay with you and get a dead end $5 / Hr job forever or does he go to college and get a $40 / Hr job?
Give him a break will you and stop being so selfish!

If you really love him then you need to let him follow his dreams, wherever they may be. You also need to tell him how you feel before he leaves otherwise he could come back with a girl on his arm. If he is interested in you he'll stay faithful and come back to you. But if he isn't then you need to move on and find somone new!

Yes, let him go. This is COLLEGE we're talking about, not a 10-day backpack trip in Colorado. He shouldn't have to give that up for anyone. And while I'm at it, why aren't YOU worrying about college?

Sorry, but you really have no say in this situation. You had better let him go without saying anything about it other than that you will miss him. If you try to make him stay you will undoubtedly lose him for sure.

Let him go & tell him he should, but also tell him how you feel, and that won't change if he does go away to college.

"If u let it go & it comes back, then it was meant to be"

yes, you are being selfish. why would you not want him to go to college and better himself just because you were to chicken to say anything to him for 3 years? let him go. better yet, why doesn't he check into going to a school that is close to where you live.

i think you should let him go and do his college thing.
trust him a bit and if he really likes you then you Will stay in touch and see each other every once in a while or as often as you guys can.

yes...you are...You two can still be together while he is away at college..let that man go to college think about it this way if he goes and you end up married that more money in his pocket and he can provide for you better..you can visit call..take special weekends away...let him go to college he may end up hating u in the end for it..and you get your butt in college too

If you really love him, let him do what he wants to do. Let him go somewhere else. It looks like he doesn't love you as you love him. Just let him do what makes him happy.
