I am a guy, but The Notebook is not one of my favorite movies. I thought it was too cliche and a little too mushy when at some points it should have been darker.
I don't think it is wierd to be a guy and like it. I do, personally, prefer darker romances. Give Vertigo a try.

Secondly, many men enjoy things that are considered as "chick" stuff...but they are arfraid of being emasculated and that is why they won't mention anything....
