Worms come from worm eggs that dogs ingest. Sweet food isn't good for dogs but it doesn't give them worms.

No,that's an old wive's tale. But too many sweets aren't good for your dog.Stick to dog food and treats made for dogs.An occasional bite of a cookie or other sweet won't harm it,though.Just make sure it doesn't get too heavy.

Sweet food? I'm not sure I understand what you are talking about...
Parasites arise from a number of sources. Mosquitos can carry heartworms, which they infect the dog with via the blood stream. Dogs can get parasites from their mother's and be born with them. They can pick them up from other dogs stools. Dogs can pick-up tapeworms from fleas along with other sources. I would do a google serach about canine parasites or stop at your vets and get pamphlets.

Yes, a dog can get worms from eating too much of any kind of human food. In fact, "scraps" high in sugar are the worst you can give a canine, especially chocolate.

Not to my knowledge. It is bad for them though it can hurt there stomach along w/ giving dogs chocolate the caffeine is bad for there hearts. It is your dog you can feed it what you want but my dogs don't get near it because you don't want something you love to get sick from what you give them.
