Is Satan actually Jesus's half-cousin? And do they have a rivalry going on in Heaven?

Here's the way I heard it in a recent answer posted on here: Satan is self-delusional, with attention deficits; whereas Jesus is egotisitcal and impatient, and rather hates Satan.

Jesus actually once prevailed upon God to change the rules a little and allow him to exile certain angels to hell (though that was generally a punishment for mortals only). It was kind of like a pogrom, to get rid of Satan's political base, such as it was; and Satan, lame *** that he is, didn't even see it coming. Ha!

Does anyone have more info in this rivalry?

You have been taught falsely....and err greatly, not knowing Scripture.
Jesus is God and was NOT created....Satan is a created being...

Psalms 148:5 angels are spirit creatures and are direct creations by God. They were here a long time before the earth was ever created. In Job 38:7 all the angels cried out when the earth was created.
Colossians 1:15 says that Jesus was the first of God's creations and that by means of him all other things were created that would include Satan. So he would actually be a creator of Satan.
So as such if a family type was to exist he would be his father.
Matthew 28:18 Says of Jesus, all authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.
So he has the authority to do anything he wants.
Satan has free will he chose to do the wrong things.
Jesus is kind and self sacrificeing. There is no hell that is a creation of man.
When Adam sinned in the garden of eden god said, "For dust you are and to dust you will return."
So Adam is just gone. So is anyone who live and died and broke God's law. It is as if they were never born.
Only angels will be abyssed in Revelaton 20: It tells how the wicked angels will be thrown into the abyss.

I believe you are being silly or mocking someone; however I will answer you - Per the Bible;
Before Adam & Eve came on the scene, there was an age before this one; Satan was created to guard the mercy seat, or throne that was reserved for the Christ. Instead, Satan wanted to be the begotten Son of God, instead of Jesus. He started a great war over it, and in the Manuscripts that war was called the Katibole. One-third of Gods Children fought on the side of satan; When satan was defeated, God could have just killed the one-third, but what does it take to kill one of your own? That you love? Anyway, so God destroyed that earth age, and when you read in Genesis Chapter one, you are reading of the refurbishing to prepare the earth for flesh life, the beginning of THIS earth age.
God sentenced satan to perish, and he will die at a specified time in the future. This earth age is for each person to be born of flesh once, to make a decision as to whether they would follow satan or God. God is still in control. Satan will return before Christ comes back - he will come disguised as Jesus, acting like Jesus, and the Bible says the mass majority will believe it is the Christ, returned. But, its the fake. If they had read Gods Word, they would know hes the fake, but since Bible illiteracy runs rampant in this world, many will worship him. Satan was originally to be here during a 7 year period (31/2) but that has been shorted to five months, in Rev.9 -
He will set up a one world government, and i quess thats the political system you speak of. The Angels that are condemned are doomed because of what they did in Jude 1 - they left their habitations and came to earth without being born of woman and came down as supernatural beings and were marrying women; you can read of this problem in Genesis - Thats why God brought in the flood of Noah's time - to kill off the influx of these half-man, half-angelic beings they called Geba (translated means giants).

There is a great deal more to the Word of God than that which is being taught.

There is alot of *angry emotion* displayed here. A bit hypocrital but it matters not. religion is a joke, a fantasy created for people who can't think for themselves. They are lead by cult leaders who need to find a way to make money and stay in power.
