I bought tortillas the other day and I don't know what kind of wraps to make with them. Does anyone have any ideas? Nothing with bacon or ham please.

You can do anything you want.I like to use them for egg salad in the summer, and you can't get much easier than that.6 hard boiled eggs-rough chopped-salt and pepper to taste and a green onion for flavor(onion powder will work too).If you have company coming boil more eggs.Simple quick and tasty.

If they are flour tortillas, my favorite thing to do with them is put a layer of shredded cheese on them and top it with a thin layer of salsa. Put another tortilla on top. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and lay the tortilla on the sheet. Spray the top tortilla with a little spray. Put in oven at 450 degrees until tortilla gets crisp and cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream. YUM!

Woud you be willing to make a very rich dessert with them?
You can make tamales, a tortilla cerson of Huevos Ranceros, a Tortilla caserol, and a very rich dessert that I once made. I don't seem to have unpacked the recipe yet, but I hope to find that particular cook book, soon.

you can make quesidillas its just like making a grilled cheese. just take 2 tortillas and butter one side , place one in a heated skillet (butter side down) , put some shredded cheddar cheese all on it then place the other tortilla (butter side up) on top. when it starts to get brown just turn it. they are delicious especially with some salsa and sour cream. as for wraps you can put anything in tortillas, peppers and eggs, tuna, Caesar salad with some grilled chicken, refried beans and cheese, steak, turkey and cheese with lettuce and tomato. i hope some of these ideas help

I always like tuna fish. Mash it with mayo and diced celery and diced carrots for crunch. Add a tomato or lettuce for color.

If you have left over tortillas, cut them into wavy strips, brush lightly with butter, and sprinkle liberally with a mixture of sugar and Cinnamon. Bake in the oven at 350 until lightly golden. Yummy chips you can pair with ice cream or eat alone.

Wrap a scrambled egg omelette in them and sprinkle with cheese & salsa.

Spray them on each side with cooking spray. Season with season salt, chili powder, garlic powder or a combo of spices of your choice. Cut into strips and bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees until crisp. Watch closely, they will burn easily. Serve with salsa or dip.

Make a raw veggie wrap, cheese wrap, turkey wrap, anything you put between bread can be wrapped.

im assuming you mean flour tortillas....there are lots of things you can do with them....

for the kids or the kid in you...peanutbutter/jelly...or hotdogs

for the more adult palate....breakfast burrito(eggs, cheese, potatoes, bacon, ham, sausage, salsa, etc)
any mixture of meats/potatoes/cheeses/salsa (or other condiments)

in particular for me i especially like breakfast burritos, second i like chicken/cheese or rice/beans/and cheesed(with or without salsa)

to be more fancy you can make any version of regular or deli sandwhich into a wrap (with any of several flavors of tortillas)

if youre talking corn tortillas the best thing for them is either tacos or a breakfast dish that includes slightly heated torn up torillas mixed with scrambled eggs, cheese, and salsa

Breakfast burritos!!! From your comments on bacon/ham I'm guessing you eat kosher, which takes out some of my favorite ingredients in breakfast burritos... IF thats the case, however, you can always use turkey bacon. You can also put homefries in them. They're delicious! And cheddar cheese.

Morning Star Farms and Boca both have good meatless selections. Morning Star Farms has these "steak" strips you can use. Just add some sauce that you like and there you go!

Sometimes I just eat them plain. I put a little butter in a pan, fry both sides, and add some garlic salt.

Try tuna and mayo with some cheese in the oven for a short time.
Or take boneless chicken breast and cook it in a forman grill and cut it up, put in some chicken, salsa and cheese in the wrap, warm it up or bake lightly in the oven.
