You could put them in a larger bowl, but WHY custard???
Have you no taste? whipped double cream would have been delicious served with the mince pies......
Eat the custard tomorrow, with more mince pies. ;-)

Make a trifle? Sponge and custard? Add bananas and serve cold?

You could walk on it....

Custard, being a non-newtonian liquid, actually becomes solid under pressure allowing you to walk on it, but don't stand still, else you will start sinking.... another example of a non-newtonian liquid is quicksand

Make Ice Cream. Dice Christmas Pud or Cake into the mixture, don't make it too thick, then put into shallow dish and freeze, stir every 30 mins or so till frozen, or just put it into Ice Cream maker if you have one.
