When I meditate, I can occasionally sense the presence of spirits. Sounds unusual, but I can. They don't bother me too often, but sometimes they are pests with the pulling on my legs and such as I meditate.

You have to have a wild imagination or be taking drugs to encounter spirits. Go into a deeper meditation and keep your focus and you won't be distracted by imaginary spirits.

There are many ways however I am a little different then most spiritualists. I only use my will power. In other words I just ignore them pretend that they are not there and keep focused.

The answer you are probably looking for is probably some candles. Some of my friends use some type of candles to prevent spirits and such from disturbing them.

There are 'time warps' in our house and a certain level of coldness and darkness in certain areas downstairs. Seems to start around eleven. I have noticed that areas near electromagnetic radiation have this kind of thing. We are right near a railroad track, which in traditional blues songs, was a place of haunting at night. Also, there is a large telephone pole outside our house, an energy source. Mentioning a ___________ is a bad idea, it attracts the _________ of ___.

I do not meditate in the house during the evening, more in the spring and summer, during the morning.

It's happened a couple of times. Thus far I've never had to do anything beyond telling them to go screw off; now, if I know I'm settling down for a long session of meditation, or doing it for a specific purpose, I perform the LBRP beforehand and have had no problems.

That is why you have to create a shield mentally before meditation, using visualising tech, and really belief in it...
Actually, when meditating the best thing is to concentrate totally in meditation and ignore the rest, the rest(noise, spirit etc) are simply distractions...take it as a test...prove urself...

Try looking up the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram, not only useful as clearing out unwanted intrusions but a great meditation in its own right.

Verily, getting up at night for Prayer (meditate) is the most potent means of subduing the self and most effective in speech.

As Muslims we believe in jinn (plural for genie) - good and bad. Calling upon Allah is what rids you of the bad ones who pester you. We recite verses from the Quran for this, or we pray, or there are certain duas (informal prayers) we say such as "Authu billahi min ashaitan a-rajeem" (translation: I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the condemned one."

hope this helps ....

I've never had that problem. My biggest problem is keeping my focus, but it doesn't have anything to do with spirits so much as just stress and my busy schedule.
