It's not that I'm behind on payments. I been receiving so many propositions through mails and internets recently. Especially I'm unemployed.
I remember during upper 1970s. When if I decide to get a credit card. fill out an application then mail it. Most of the time receive rejection letter, few times the card comes. It was hard to get credit card.
What happen? Than it was impossible now it's too easy.

Congratulations...you apparently have excellent credit...just the kind of consumer they're looking for! Here's the danger. All of those "pre-approved" offers are just what identity theives are looking for! You need to "opt out" of receiving these types of solicitation by calling 1-888-5-OPT OUT (1-888-567-8688). It will take a short while to see the impact of placing this "stop" order but you'll be surprised at the decrease in volume.

Also, to stop telephone solicitors your should register your telephone numbers (home and cellular) at www.donotcall.gov.

Neither of these will stop companies with whom you already have a relationship from sending solicitations/mailings or calling but it will stop those with whom you do not have an existing relationship.

Good Luck!

every time you authorize a company to envision your credit, you're dinged on your credit status. If a organization "inquires" really without your authorization to run a credit record then you truthfully are literally not penalized. in case you be conscious for a mastercard to get the lower price then you truthfully have a separate line of credit for every time you've requested. you should actually really have 2-3 charge playing cards to maintain a healthful debt to accessible credit ratio. once you've charge playing cards with accessible credit (or maxed out limits) of thousands of greenbacks (more suitable than $15,000) it starts to look undesirable (till you've a huge earnings, then the credit decrease quantity is going a lot larger earlier there is issues commence to look undesirable). you mustn't be conscious for any extra charge playing cards to get the lower price. remember, till you pay the full stability off that month then the pastime you pay on the quantity you owe is often more suitable than the lower price you receive contained in the first position. you should in all likelihood get a replica of your credit record (you will get a three-in-a million for $30-35) and note what number diverse debts you've and how a lot the steadiness is for each of them. you should attempt to keep your oldest credit account open yet close many of the others once you've more suitable than 3 or so. It looks a lot extra effective on your credit record if a good number of further debts say "closed by request" instead of exclaiming the account organization closed it. once you've instructed the cashier's your credit sucks and they say that consistently employing for further credit is okay then you truthfully understand they both haven't any clue how credit works or they merely desire the fee or credit for beginning yet another account and do not care if it hurts your credit. to really get a cope with on belongings you should ascertain a credit counselor and an approved economic planner to get you on the right track to cleansing up your credit. It takes years earlier some issues can come off your credit record so the quicker you commence the quicker your credit receives extra effective. strong success!

You should probably opt-out from all "firm" offers -aka prescreens. A thief can take one of those offers out of your mailbox and steal your identity.
