thechniques? or do you mean Martial Arts disciplines? because there'e several disciplines that use them, Kendo bing one of the most prominent disciplines.

there're some traditional kenjutsu schools that practice the sword fighting techniques as well, as well as other different schools.

Korea has Haidong Gumdo which is much like Kendo but has different rules in it's curriculum.

and often some Chinese Disciplines use wooden broad swords and such for their training purposes.
