Long distance relationships are difficult, and unfortunately, a lot of them don't end up working out in the end. You should try to maintain e-mails or calls in between seeing each other, so that you don't grow too distant.

In the meantime, you need to hang out with friends or find a hobby that you enjoy doing so that you are not so dependent on her. Before you met her, how did you fill up your time and what other things made you happy? It's important for you to find other things you enjoy doing and to spend time with other friends, so that you are not miserable and thinking about her the whole time you guys are apart.

I am in a long distance relationship now, and get to see him for 2 weeks every 2-3 months......I fill the emptiness with phone calls, emails, and snuggling up in one of his shirts when I am really lonely. It's hard, but dont let anyone tell you it cant work. As soon as my house sells I'll be moving to be with him. I write him letters and send him cards every week...it makes the time go by faster. He also has an..ummm...ariticle of my clothing too...but we cant talk about what he does with that

Long distance relationships can work for a time as long as there is a commitment for someone to move eventually. I was in a long distance relationship across country and it wasn't the distance that broke us up - it was the fact that he was not ready to commit. I refused to move without a commitment. So as long as you two still want to be together, then one of you is going to have to make a commitment to move for the person.

well first off... theres the internet lol but then if her step dad keeps getting in the way then just talk to her and be with her while you guys can... theres not much you can do but then it also makes the time you spend together more special than it used to be... if you guys love each other and all that then youll be happy whenever you two are together...

It appears from what you've said that her uncle has passed away? Then why doesn't she move back now? I'd say that maybe her feelings have changed..............tell her to move back or you're moving on. Then, do it!
