Staying the course didn't mean do not adjust the plan. It meant to not waver in our support for the war. America needs a base in the region. It is in the middle of extremist Muslims stronghold. We have to have a force in the region to be able to strike and monitor the enemy.

When you closely analyze the situation their in Iraq, you see it obviously that this war is never going to end. Though the current situation is like that, Americans forces and British forces along with their people back home can forget about the war in Iraq by pulling the army out of that country.
That is the only way to see the war end from their part as this guirella war is going to place for another 10 year roughly.................

Eventually. May not be up to folks expections how. I expect us to pull out one way or the other. The factions in Iraq will fight themselves to exhaustion. My guess is the only victor will be the Kurds. They have the only real military left in Iraq and a relatively peaceful enclave. the Sunnis and Shiites will both be big loser's.
Cst'e La Gurre. Or a better summing up, born in war, died in war.

When the troops realize that they are acting like gutless slaves to flag-wavers who really think that anyone who fights for them is a useful idiot. These troops aren't acting like real Americans, who are not sheep but stand up to proven cowards and traitors like the chickenhawks who sent them there.

Not in our lifetime.... As long as there are Sunnis and Shiites I believe there will always be fighting among themselves. I do believe however that we will pull out of Iraq as soon as their military is fully established.
