try asking the previous owner to have a title search done from the DMV then for a fee of around 30 bucks a new copy of the title can be issued worst case witha bill of sale you may be able to get an "R" title issued for it but try a title search first

did the last owner ever have the title? if so, you can apply for a duplicate, or it would be better if he did. They take a while to get together, 6 weeks or somethin, so be prerpared to wait(although you wont get to do much ridin for a while, cuz of the weather). If you dont know who had the original title, you can try applying for an R-title, but i dont know all that well whats involved with that.

Goood luck, and maybe ill see you on the road come april, or may, or june....

The previous owner needs to get a duplicate title and sign it over to you. It's illegal to sell a vehicle without a title -- and stunningly stupid to buy a vehicle without one since you can't even legally junk it without the title.

Go to Wiggin's (or Best) auto tags and they can help you out. Just tell them you need a title transfer and they'll take care of it for around $35.00. I'm not sure if they're all over, but they are in the Philly area.

you could own a motor vehicle without the purpose of using it on the line strategies. Like a motor domicile parked on your land some the place, or a truck that continues to be on your farm. Or a motorbike on your series.
