You are an idot.
When the Bible references sex it says "to lay down with" or mentions some form of lying together.
2 Samuel 1:26 "I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother; you were very dear to me. Your love for me was wonderful, more wonderful than that of women."
Means: The love mentioned here is a spiritual love...apparently it is something you know nothing about!
Samuel 18:3-4 "And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt
So if you take off your shirt and give it to someone who is a dear friend, then you are homosexual??? Very stupid comparison!
Daniel 1:9 "Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs"
So God favored David...so what?
If you read the rest of these scriptures you will see there's more to each verse you wrote here! You just pasted what you thought would cause a stir!
God destroyed Sodom and Gamorah for homosexuality among other reasons!
God also said that it was an abomination to him!
You need to read your scriptures more closely before coming on here and looking like an idiot!

David and Jonathan were the best of friends. David had a... not great history w/ women, so a little brotherly love was likely a relief. As for the Ruth reference, Ruth had grown close to Naomi by this point and wanted to comfort her at the loss of her family by being her best friend.

Where do you get this is homosexuality? Have you ever loved someone of the same sex in such a way where it made you feel whole? This is what the Bible is saying. David and Jonathan were best friends; a bond that could never be broken and yes, it was such that it was a bond stronger than a man could have with a woman. Now as for the scripture you recite in Ruth, that was a daughter in laws love for her mother in law. She felt blessed because of the unconditional love her mother in law showed her and she wanted to show her loyalty to her. There is nothing homosexual about either of these verses. Just an unconditional loyalty kind of love that you don't see very much nowadays.

If you are citing those examples as examples of Homosexuality you are way, way off base.
All of those mentioned were worshipers of the true God and thus followed the Mosaic Law regarding not even wearing a garment of the other sex let alone practicing what the Scriptures condemn.
David
Jonathan
Daniel and Ruth are outstanding examples of faith.
At the rate you are going you would fit into the category described by this Scripture:
"Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom given him also wrote YOU, speaking about these things as he does also in all [his] letters. In them, however, are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unsteady are twisting, as [they do] also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
YOU, therefore, beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on YOUR guard that YOU may not be led away with them by the error of the law-defying people and fall from YOUR own steadfastness. " -2 Peter 15-17

The problem is that we as GLBT folk understand such language to be familiar, as we might express physical love for each other.
Straight folk think that love expressed as such is simply romantic LANGUAGE, not intending anything physical.
Who is right? These things were written thousands of years ago, and we have no accurate cultural references to determine the exact nature of the language. Christians (straight ones) will continue to see this language in their own way, GLBT folk will see the possibility of homosexual love, and there will likely never be any definitive answer which will satisfy both.

You obviously have never experienced brotherly love. Homosexuality is considered detestable and disgusting according to all biblical accounts. There are many example in the bible as to how it is considered wrong,IE. Jobs account when the sodomites tried to gain access to his guests for sex. Also along with other sinful conditions the bible quotes at Ist Corinthians 5:9-11 what is wrong and that those who practise such things will not inherit God's Kingdom

Because even back in bible days it was very much in use in the world.. That is one reason probably for the flood..
It is the same way now its an abomination....
In the Old Testament the penalty for this sin was severe. Leviticus 20:13: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Today the penalty of death comes in the form of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. It also brings death to the soul and spirit of man because the life of God is pushed out by indulging in something that is an abomination to God. God wants to deliver all who are trapped in this unholy practice and He will if anyone calls out to Him with a sincere heart.

if you are looking for a reason to be homosexual find it somewhere else; you wont find it in the bible.
if you travel to the middle east, even in these modern times. you will discover that their concept of life and love, in general, is very different for does of the west.
otherwise if you have a problem with words in the bible look for the hebrew and greek interpretations over the internet.
http://www.biblegateway.com/
however, if you question is a joke; alas! it is not a very good one.

Yep, sounds pretty homo to me, amazing how people react to scriptures when it doesn't help their cause, yet exploit verse that promotes their believes, to say this scripture is not homosexual you must admit thatthe rest of the book is fiction as well.
