It's good. I believe that all religions are true simply because there are people who belive in them. For those people they are and thats all that counts. Reading other religion's sacred books is a good thing and helps you understand other people and cultures.

I for one have no interest in reading sacred books of other religions. I only want to read and study GOD's word.

Absolutely.
Knowledge is good. Even if you don't agree with the philosophy it supports, learning about something that you don't know about is always good.
With regards to religion in specific - if simply LEARNING about another path is going to lead you astray, one has to wonder about the strength of your faith in the first place...

It is a wonderful thing. Sometimes it takes the discovery of other faiths to help you rediscover the wholesome seeds of your own. Believing that there is only one way to God is very dangerous, and leads to hatred and suffering in many ways.
There have been many wise men in this world, and it would be foolish to ignore their messages. You may be surprised how well they relate to you and your own faith.

Yes absolutely!
But, its very important you read the text itself, not what other people tell you about it. Don't take some else word for it, read it yourself, not just take other peoples commentaries.

Always good. Learning experience at the least...and if nothing else, it's excellent for deepening your own faith.
