Are you referring to soap to wash the dog in or for washing their bedding?

If you are talking about their bedding, i use All's hypoallergenic detergent.

If you are talking washing the dogs in, I recommend any DOG shampoo that is oatmeal based. Mr. Crystal's is one of my favorite brands, but it's not cheap. A great site for dog care products is petedge.com.

Well, I would say none, unless you're talking about doggy sweaters and such. Dogs are not fabric, and would not do any better after a bath in Clorox or Tide than you would. You can go the expensive route and get dog shampoo from your vet, or you can do what I do and bathe your dog in whatever you bathe yourself with. My yellow lab does fine on Dove soap and Suave shampoo and conditioner. For quickie jobs I use waterless cleansers like people use to give people "baths" in bed...sometimes he's too stinky. Also, my vet told me I could spray him with Febreze, just not near his face. That sounds bad, but his coat is so thick...it doesn't penetrate, just kills surface odor. And after all, the vet told me to. But no laundry detergent, as dogs are not laundry.

Laundry soap refers to soap used for clothing and such. Are you washing dog clothes? I wash my dogs with regular shampoo and rinse well. Have a great day. Note that soap is lye based and may be too harsh. Detergents are more gentle.
