Doubt it, though eyes can sometimes be readable. Maybe some are just extra abled to sense thoughts of others that way.

you say "perhaps even" like it's more out of reach than talking with a human.
Well, if you use this possibility
When the mind thinks, it emits brain waves. A person reading minds would have to be able to intercept those brain waves and then be able to read them as an ordinary thought. This could be accomplished by reversing the way that thoughts are turned into brain waves.
When a person is projecting a thought, the thought could be made so that it was stronger than a regular thought, thus, when intercepted by a brain that wasn't trying to read it a vague understanding that something was trying to contact it.
When a reader and a projector come into contact, through brain waves, the message is clear and understandable

I like this question. Both of my parents are Atheists but my dad believes strongly telepathy and telekinesis. I would like to believe also, but I know that the human mind has limits, just like every other physical structure or energetic field. Question is - are these things within our untapped limits?

ESP comes in various forms. My family (actually just me and my grandmother. We're the only ones still alive) has a history of several cases of various minor abilities. I've never known of a documented credible case of telepathy in the form of verbal messages. The closest thing I've seen is my grandmother hearing organ music during the last moments of a loved one's life. This is, indeed a message of sorts, but it's not words like "Hello, how are you."

I believe the ability is inherent in us all, it just has to be trained.
There is so much that our minds can do that we don't know about, that science has yet to be able to discover, and that we can teach ourselves.
Magic(k) is a good path-way to learn about these things, but the concepts can be scientific, so you don't need to be pagan, wiccan, or study witchcraft to be able to do these things.

thats impossible...unless it's like what firebull said. you're not actually reading peoples mind or talking to them using your mind(i.e. having them read your mind through your body language)
