I have this boyfriend that i love so much and would never do anything to hurt him but i think that i might have in a way cheated on him....
well i went out of town for new years and went up into the mountains to this cabin where i met with a bunch of my old friends (i moved but every new years we all get together). well they brought along this new guy. and he was really funny and sweet and we hit it off really well. This guy lives really far away from me and i never planned to have anything between us so it was just a one night thing. when i came home i called my boyfriend and he was really suspiscious and was quizzing me alot about everything. so i lied to him because i didnt want to hurt him. i really do love him and am really scared that if he found out then he would leave me. there is no way he would ever find out but should i tell him and risk him breaking up with me or should i never tell anyone and take it with me to the grave but feel bad for a while????

He should leave you..I hope he finds out!!!! you are a tramp ! you need to be honest with him and tell him.. what if this guy had a disease.. I mean you take the dirt nap so what but its not fair to bring him with you.. i can see how much you love him

So you "might have in a way cheated on him"? You kinda left out what you did with cabin boy. Drinking soda and playing Monopoly? Not cheating. Swapping spit and touch-feelies? Cheating. So there's your first question. Sounds like you DID cheat on him, so you can probably drop the "kinda might-haves".
What to do now? Put yourself in his shoes: If he did this, what would you want HIM to do and how would YOU feel? That might help you figure things out.
Also when someone in a relationship cheats, it actually means that there are problems in the relationship. People in relationships get opportunities to cheat all of the time, they only take them if there are already problems.

If he really wants to know and asks again, then YES... tell him. If he leaves you over something small as you having a one-time fling then so be it Lying is worse and it will catch up to you eventually anyway, so get it out of the way - preferably right after going to bed with HIM so he won't have as much to complain about!

You never really specified what you did...did you sleep with him or just kiss him? If you slept with him, you need to be honest to your b/c...it is not fair. He needs to be the one that makes the final call he may love you enough to stay together. Remember...once a cheater always a cheater...temptation is too great for you.
