I think it is normal for you. I've been shedding everytime I comb, brush, wash my hair since I was a teenager and I am now 42 years old and I have never noticed any difference in hair loss. I think on average you lose over 100 hairs per day but I have a lot so mine is probably like 300 or so and I am not exagerating either.

First of all, stop brushing your hair, especially when it is wet. Use a wide tooth comb. Second, stress is the biggest cause of hair loss. Either reduce your stress, or find ways to deal with it. Third, don't do anything stressful to your hair, like tight hairstyles, straighteners, etc. Fourth, nourish your scalp. Make sure you condition well. This will strengthen your actual root attachment.

Losing hair is not often an unhealthy thing. If your hair is thick, you can expect to seem to lose more hair than sustainable. This is normal.

If, however, you are losing hair due to breakage, I suggest a leave-in conditioner. Herbal Essences makes an adequate one specifically for hair breakage.

ARE YOU SURE THAT THE AMOUNT OF HAIR THAT IS ON YOUR BRUSH IS NOT NORMAL. WE LOOSE A LOT OF HAIR EVERY DAY. USE A GOOD SHAMPOO AND CONDITION.ER. YOUR HAIR MIGHT HAVE BREAKAGE. THERE IS A PRODUCT BY PAUL MITCHELL, IT IS CALLED HAIR REPAIR, OR ANY OF THE REDKENS PRODUCTS ARE GOOD

a lot of hair loss is stemmed from your eating habits. eat healthier. and if that's not it...it could be stress. if it progresses after changing your diet, you may want to see a doctor. good luck! oh...also, stop using any products you have recently started using. good luck
