Sorry you're so stressed. Actually you're not alone. A lot of people are on the same boat. That's why there are so many diet plans and centers.
Do admire you for stopping smoking. It's a big accomplishment and the weight gain is the cost. So, look at how far you've worked to quit and pat yourself on the back. You did well.
The weight is a small thing. Why? Because you have lost weight by watching what you eat and it worked. So, just do it again in a healthy way. In time with patience, surely you will succeed again.
Best Wishes.

Well, you're obviously lacking motivation. Get the new year off on the right track. Kick your bad habits and make good ones. It seems like your appearence is important to you. Get back the ideal body you used to have. Go to the gym and work for it. Wanting to be beautiful again should be great motivation. Once you start working out it's easy to pick up healthy tendencies. By working out and eating healthy, not only do you feel better about yourself superficially, but internally as well. Good luck!

Find another eating and exercise plan that works for you, one that is drug-free. You don't need pot to keep your weight down. Do things that make you feel better about yourself. Talk to someone about how you're feeling, don't do this alone. You're very young and you have lots of time to change whatever you want in your life that's not working for you. Don't give up.

I think it might be time that you see a counselor. Don't be afraid to seek help, it will be worth it for you and your self-esteem. Remind yourself that there are people who have things a lot worse than you. Try making a list of all the things you like about yourself, at least 10. Post it on your mirror and read it aloud to yourself each day when you wake up.

I think its great you stopped smoking because that is worse for your health than having an extra few pounds on. Do you exercise and eat right? When I want to lose a few pounds I cut out carbs from my diet and that helps me. Keep your head up!

You are young and have a whole life ahead of you. You're experiencing a change in your life, but realizing that you are in control of your decisions will ultimately put you back on track. Never give up, never give in. Persistence will pay off

you're depressed; find a counselor to talk with and get back on track. remember, cardio+weight training+healthy eating=weight loss. firstly, you need to exercise no matter what. your body was designed to be active and to benefit from physical activity. you should be starting with 30 minutes of cardio a day for a month. the second month, complete your 30 minutes of cardio and add 15 minutes of weight training. month three, complete 45 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weight training a day and so on. invest in a pedometer to help you keep track of how many steps a day you are walking. you should aim for a goal of at least 10,000. for me, i average 15,000 steps a day. find activities that are fun for you to do. park further away from the door when you are shopping; take the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator. activity can be found everywhere. secondly, you should try to eat 3 moderate meals and 3 snacks a day to keep yourself from getting hungry and to keep your blood sugar stable and energy levels up. males generally need between 1800-2300 calories a day to lose weight and 2300-2800 to maintain depending on activity levels. females need between 1400-1800 to lose weight and 1900-2300 to maintain weight. make sure to eat a lot of whole wheat, whole grain, high fiber pastas, cereals, crackers, popcorn, tortillas, Kashi TLC bars and probiotic bars found in health food stores, consume brightly colored fruits, vegies, and berries,(red, orange, yellow, green, blue/purple) and try to eat only lean cuts of meat no bigger than a deck of cards. use olive oil to help with your good cholesterol, and eat other sources of protein such as nuts, peanut butter, beans, soy products, etc. make sure to drink plenty of water, green teas, red teas, and pure fruit juices, soy milk or non fat milks. limit soda consumption to no more than 2 regular diet sodas a day. if you eat right and stay on track changing your lifestyle, you could possible lose 8 or 9 pounds a month. good luck.
