Don't worry, I have them too. I'm a cheerleader and it can be a little uncomfortable sometimes having to wear cut-off tops, and having little bumps on my upper arm. I went to my dermatoligist and she gave me this cream, it has been on TV, it really works to. It's called DesOwen, you can buy it at Walgreens, CVS, and other stores. If that doesn't work out for you, dry them out with oxipads works, too.

Its called Keratosis Pilaris and a lot of people have it. It's commonly mistaken for acne or dry skin but it is caused by excess protein in the skin. There is no "cure" for it but you can try a good exfoliator or lotions and cremes with alpha hydroxy.

It sounds like Keratosis Pilaris :(

There is really no treatment for them and no cure. They get worse in winter due to dry skin and get better during the summer.

Don't worry, I have it too!! You are not alone! Exfoliating really helps, and don't pick at it!

A moisturizing lotion never hurts!

Lots of my g/f's have that problem too. I have been told by a friend and it seemed to work to up you fish oil intake. The rumour is that the bumps are caused by a deficiency of some sort and eating more fish esp. tuna does seem to help.

I have them to. I cant remember what its called but my doctor said to start using a palm olive soap when showering. He said this soap is easier on the skin and will help the bumps fade or go away completely.

My sister used to have them too.... since she was really little. They just went away after a while. It's really no big deal. It's probably just something in your genes. Nothing to worry about considering a lot of people you know has them too. =)

it is a form of acne... just use a facial cleanser on it everyday and you should see some results. If it is not acne, it could be goosebumps.
