the 120 mm smoothbore L55 ( Rheinmetall Germany ) can destroy a T 90 at 2.5 miles ( 4 km )
This gun is in use in the M1A2 the early version the L44 ( M1 A1 ) witch is a bit shorter so the penetration will also a bit lower .
The ammo is also playing a very big role the distance given above is for a sabot projectile with a depleted uranium core the M829.

This gun is also in use on the Leopard 2 A 5

fire while moving cross-country..
