As a preschool teacher, we have so many kids like wake up from nap completely sweaty, with wet hair. It is so gross! But like you said, the room is not hot or anything so I think it is just normal for some kids.

When my 2 1/2 year old lays down for a nap and is really super tired he will sleep in the same spot on his bed and will wake up very sweaty also. I think your daughter is just working through her ear infection. good Luck.

yes. Although it's males who usually sweat more than females. Air the room a bit. If there's no fever, no worries. As forthe runny nose and cough, well they do hang around for a bit don't they.

Her head was sweaty because she was too warm. Regardless of whether she is sick (you should not bundle up a child with a fever to "let the fever work"), you need to cover her with a thinner blanket or whatever so she is not so warm. But don't worry. Don't sweat it ;). Unless your child is lethargic (when not feverish) she probably isn't seriously ill.

My son is the sweatiest headed kid I have ever seen. It is probably nothing to worry about. I am sure you have had nights where you just wake up in a sweat. It could be the infection is still just working itself out. Her body is doing what it is supposed to do. Just keep an eye on her temp and she should be just fine.

Yes, if she has fever. When people has fever they usually do that.

It is because she fever is coming out.

Actually if it is a serious thing, take to the doctor. It will be better.

She may just have been a little too warm while sleeping. I think that her cold symptoms may have had an effect on her body temp.
