I firmly believe all babies are born with something.
They can have looks,
They can have brains,
They can have charisma,
They can have talent,
not all kids get the same lot in life. If they are not smart, they have to have something else that is intrinsic. I believe it.

Some is genetics, some is environmental. Children parked in front of a television for years do more poorly in school. We have students that come to kindergarten having never held a pencil, crayon or scissors.

Genetics for one thing but some parents are too busy to teach their children, they leave it to the teachers and will not set down with their children and help them with their homework or teach them values that school teachers can't.

Is it nature or is it nurture. I think it is mainly the brains that God gives us, but a lot of stimulation of a baby with reading, singing, music, talking, touching, being outside can increase a child's mental ability.

No kid is really smarter than any other kid. Some kids just try harder than other, and well some just dont try at all.

It's not a matter of smart or dumb, it's how much you try and believe in yourself to learn something new and apply that skill to everyday life.
