It might be how you give the number. If he says "let's meet up for a drink" and then you say "sure, here's my number" it might seem too desperate right back. What you should do is when he says "let's meet up for a drink" is count 1,2,3,4,5 and then say "ok" and then let him ask for your number, give it him, and then end the conversation first! Do not sit and talk to him, every great salesman knows to get off the phone or leave once they have a sale, the same thing. If it's because you're volunteering your number, try this. Otherwise, maybe they have a girlfriend, wife, etc., and aren't serious about dating. Either way keep the faith, you're only looking for one great man! Hang in there!

I cant figure guys out at all. I just had a similar thing happen after a first date (great date, no phone call) and I dont get it. Dont worry about trying to figure out why guys play these games and find a man who is really interested in pursuing you. Best of luck!

maybe he's playing that stupid game girls invented that teaches people not to call the next day or whatever... maybe he's busy... if he asked for your number there was probably a reason, don't worry.
